On the top of the list, the tabloid notes that Black is into musical theater, and she will be the lead this year in the play Oklahoma!. “I’ve always been in our school’s shows, ever since first grade,” Black told People. In addition, she noted that she took four years of voice coaching lessons before her song was released and subsequently went viral.

Black has said that she wants to do a duet with Justin Bieber, but she is apparently a complete Bieber freak. About her bedroom, she says: “I am so dorky when it comes to Justin Bieber. I have a little mini shrine in my room.” If Bieber and her were to sing together, she said that she would “scream at the top of [her] lungs and possibly not be able to sing again”. In addition, the tabloid notes that she is a smart honors student. Black is currently in the 8th grade and has won spelling bees in the past.

During the interview, Black admitted that she is a big fan of Disney star Selena Gomez, saying that she “admires” her. “I think it’s awesome that she hasn’t taken that downward spiral that other child stars have taken. And I really love Katy Perry, too,” Black gushed. Finally, she revealed that the people in the “Friday” video are her actual friends she hangs out with on a regular basis. So, basically, other than her video that went viral, she is like any other typical teenager.
