Verizon Announced the iPhone is coming to their network in February. According to the Las Vegas Sun, Apple and Verizon executives announced that the popular iPhone 4 is branching out to the Verizon Wireless Network in February. They say that the Iphone is going to be available on the Verizon Wireless Network on February 10th.

Some qualified customers will be able to get their Iphone by February 3rd. Rumors and release dates have been floating around since 2007 as to when the Iphone would become available on the Verizon Network. As of today, AT&T’s exclusive iPhone contract with Apple has ended, which from what I’ve heard of AT&T’s service, is going to make customers very happy. Verizon Wireless customers have expressed that they can’t wait to get a hold of their own iPhone 4.

Tim Cook who is the chief operating officer for Apple said that they have enormous respect for Verizon and the loyalty they have earned from their customers. The iPhone 4 features a 5-megapixel camera and LED flash, HD video recording, Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities for up to five devices and access to more than 300,000 apps through Apple’s App Store.
