With three hours of original programming, ABC won the ratings race on Monday, drawing 6.96 million viewers and a 2.2 demo, better than FOX’s 4.00 million and 1.7 demo. FOX’s total viewers actually put the network in fourth place, but the coveted 18-49 demographic matters most to advertisers. NBC drew 5.79 million and a 1.3 demo while The Eye brought in 5.46 million viewers and a 1.3. The CW was well behind with 652,000 viewers and a 0.3 demo.

ABC’s The Bachelorette drew an average 7.59 million viewers and a 2.3 demo from its airing between 8-10PM, roughly around the same numbers it drew last week. ABC rounded out primetime with an original Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition, which brought the network 5.71 million viewers and a 2.0 demo. Weight Loss Edition continues to do well out of Bachelorette, holding 87% of its 18-49 audience.

FOX went with a repeat of MasterChef (3.01 million, 1.2) and an original episode, 4.98 million and a 2.2 demo. NBC aired a rerun of America’s Got Talent (6.17 million, 1.6), an original Law & Order: Criminal Intent (5.19 million, 1.1) — at least to NBC, it first aired as a first-run episode on USA — and an original Law & Order: Los Angeles (6.03 million, 1.3).

CBS aired its comedy reruns of two episodes of How I Met Your Mother — the first drawing 4.20 million and a 1.2 demo, and the latter drawing 4.34 mukkuib and a 1.4 demo. Reruns of Two & a Half Men (6.15 million, 1.5), Mike & Molly (6.05 million, 1.4) and Hawaii Five-O (6.00 million, 1.2) rounded out the night. CW went with reruns of 90210 (840,00 viewers, 0.3) and Gossip Girl (470,000 viewers, 0.2).
