Ashley Hebert may have ultimately chosen JP Rosenbaum on The Bachelorette during the season finale on Monday night, but Ashley’s sister Chrystie Corns made it clear she wasn’t happy with her choice. However, she has since come out to admit that she made a mistake.

In an interview with People, Chrystie admits that as she watched the season unfold on television, it became “very clear” to her that “J.P. was the one. He was the best choice”. Corns admits what made her suspicious about her sister’s now fiance was her sister’s behavior when she met her fiance for the first time.

“What I didn’t take into consideration at that point was that she had been on this eight-week journey and she was really tired,” she said about her sister. She now admits, however, that she is ready to move on with her soon-to-be-brother-in-law. “I’m totally apologetic, I feel like a jerk – I want to make it up to him but he won’t let me forget it,” she joked. “J. P. says if he has anything to do with it I’m going to have to fight for the right to be maid of honor.”
