Sarah Michelle Gellar Will Guest Star On ‘AMC’ Before It’s Canceled

In addition to this fall’s new The CW series Ringer, Sarah Michelle Gellar will have one more hurrah on the canceled ABC daytime series, All My Children. Gellar, who played the role of Kendall Hart from 1993-1995 on the long-running ABC soap, revealed at the Television Critics Association’s press tour that she “just wanted to be part of it” as the series gets closer to cancellation, though it will likely be revived at a later date on the Internet.

However, considering that Alicia Minshew now plays the role of Kendall Hart, she admits that she has “no idea” what role the producers will give her.

As noted earlier this year, ABC will be ending the soap in place of cheap talk show, The Chew, which stars Mario Batali, Michael Symon, Carla Hall of Top Chef, and Clinton Kelly of What Not to Wear. AMC has been airing since January of 1970 and has produced over 10,500 episodes throughout its run.
