Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Russell Armstrong, will have two funeral services due to tension between his immediate family and the family of his estranged wife, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Separate services in California and Texas will be held by Taylor Armstrong and Russell’s family.
The first funeral is going to take place in California, with the second service taking place in Texas.
Regarding rumors that there was a disagreement within the two families on how to settle the funeral arrangements, Russell’s attorney, Ronald Richards, has debunked the claims.
“There was never a conflict,” Richards told People on Friday. “It’s my understanding that Taylor has indicated to Russell’s nephew that Russell’s family can take most of the remains back to Texas. They have a family cemetery there.”
As noted previously, Russell’s role in the upcoming season of Real Housewives will likely be dwindled due to his death. According to those who previewed the season 2 premiere of the hit Bravo series, the episode heavily followed the marital problems between Russell and Taylor. The network is still re-editing the upcoming season, according to various sources.
