Rihanna Opens Up On Chris Brown & Why She Is Giving Him Some Slack

As many people know, Rihanna recently lowered her restraining order against controversial musician Chris Brown because it made it hard for him to perform at any big-time events that she was at as well — because the restraining order stated that Brown had to be further than 100 feet from her.

Talking to Rolling Stone, Rihanna stated that when he assaulted her in 2009, even though she was the victim, she called the incident a “personal thing” and by it happening, she doesn’t want to have him not go on with his career: “What he did was a personal thing — it had nothing to do with his career. Saying he has to be a hundred feet away from me, he can’t perform at awards shows — that definitely made it difficult for him.”

She, however, stated that doesn’t necessarily mean she wants to talk to him, she just doesn’t want to make it “more difficult for him professionally”. Rihanna is certainly being understanding about the whole situation when she didn’t have to — especially after those graphic photos of her being released a few months back looking bruised and battered at the hands of Brown.
