Ricky Gervais may have gotten himself in hot water last month during NBC’s Golden Globes and was not invited back, but that is not stopping him from giving words of advice to Anne Hathaway and James Franco, the co-hosts for tomorrow’s Academy Awards on ABC.

In a recent blog entry by Gervais, he began by writing that he knows that Hathaway and Franco are absolutely capable of hosting the event without his input. Nonetheless, he went ahead and offered them some advice that he believed would be invaluable on the night. Gervais penned the script of the Oscars on his blog. He predicts that the audience and the award recipients would be very relaxed knowing that the event would not be hosted by a comedian and a British one as such.

He sees Hathaway telling the audience that, “…you can all relax because Ricky Gervais is in London … (Nervous laughter) He’s doing some charity work. Yeah, he’s visiting orphans with cancer. He’s telling them what bald little losers they are.”

Gervais last month hosted the Golden Globes amidst controversy. The comedian who is known for offensive jokes got on the nerves of several people. In the end the award organizers had to apologize and he was not invited back.
