Mel Gibson may have thought his problems with Oksana Grigorieva were over, but it is far from it. According to those close to Grigorieva, despit ethe fact that Gibson striked a plea deal and received a misdemeanor charge for allegedly abusing her, she she still plans to sue him.
According to her lawyer, she still plans to sue him in the future due to their fighting in January of 2010 in which Gibson allegedly beat her. At one point, she also had photos of the incident, but they were never used. Daniel Horowitz, Grigorieva’s lawyer, is saying she will be suing Gibson for battery, emotional distress and defamation.
On Friday, Gibson struck a plea deal with prosecutors in Los Angeles that ended up keeping him out of jail. In return, he received three years of probation and the judge simply told him to undergo some much needed counseling. Gibson will also carry out 16 hours of community service and will pay $600 in fines.
