NBC took the lead of the night with 5.19 million viewers and a 1.3 demo among the advertiser’s coveted 18-49 demographic. ABC was second in the demo, 0.9, but third overall in total viewers, 3.21. CBS took home 6.15 million viewers and a 0.8 demo. FOX tied CBS in the demo, but had less total viewers with 2.79 million. The CW was last with 910,000 viewers and a 0.3 demo.
NBC aired one of the final episodes of Friday Night Lights in the 8PM timeslot, drawing a low 2.97 million and a 0.8 demo, tying for third in the timeslot. The peacock then rounded the night out with a two-hour edition of Dateline NBC focusing on the Casey Anthony trial, drawing 6.31 million viewers and a 1.5 demo.
ABC aired a rerun of Shark Tank (3.92 million, 1.1), an original Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution (2.5 million, 0.8), and an original episode of 20/20, 3.21 million and a 0.9 demo. CBS aired an original Flashpoint, 5.74 million and a 0.8 demo and reruns of CSI: NY (6.05 million, 0.8) and Blue Bloods (7.29 million, 0.9). FOX aired reruns of Bones (3.27 million, 0.9) and House (2.31 million, 0.7). The CW decided to go with reruns of Smallville (970,000 viewers, 0.3) and Supernatural (850,000 viewers, 0.4).
