Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan, 24, made the decision to go against taking the plea bargain that was given to her, and will be going to trial for allegedly stealing a $2500 necklace. She was given up to today to give her decision. She did not accept the plea bargain, despite Lohan’s lawyer advising her it would be in her best interest to accept it. If she accepted the pleas bargain, she could have face reduced time in jail, but since she refused it, it means she would be heading back to court to battle felony grand theft charge.

As of now, Lohan will begin trial on April 22nd. As mentioned before, Lohan is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a boutique back in 22nd of January. Surveillance camera at Kamofie and Company captured Lohan walking away with the jewelry without paying. Lohan’s rep returned the jewelry to the police when they obtained a search warrant to search the house of the ‘Mean Girls’ star. Lohan is determined to stay out of trouble and get her career back on the right track. She recently was released from rehab at the beginning of the year and got into trouble soon after with the controversy surrounding the jewelry.
