Dancing with the Stars premiered this past Monday night on ABC, featuring a who’s who of different celebrities, all being lead up by Kirstie Alley, who has been in the news lateley for getting in an exchange with comedian George Lopez. This, of course, was after Lopez referred to her as a “pig” on his late-night TBS series.
Alley, however, didn’t take the joke lightly, as she quickly took jabs at Lopez’ personal life, including his divorce from his wife last year: “Don’t worry about George’s comments…just remember what happens to the big bad, drunk woolf…falls in a boiling pot of vodka.Piggy laughs,” she said initially. After Lopez decided to apologize to Alley, she shot back: “@georgelopez I don’t need or want ur apology…I want your kidney dude..on behalf of ur X and all the women uv insulted…give it back.”
As for the popular ABC reality series, which is the number one rated series on the network, Alley did very well with her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy during the premiere of DWTs, surprising the judges by being the second ranked couple with 23 points. Even though no one was eliminated this week (a combination of this week’s and next week’s scores from the judges as well as the fan voting will determine who will go home).
