Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s relationship is moving too fast, according to the parents of the pop star. Bieber recently raised eyebrows in late May for vacationing in Hawaii with Disney star Gomez and was seen on various occasions locking lips with her. Many were up in arms about this considering that Gomez is 18-years-old while Bieber, 17, is still a minor. And that was the least of it. Bieber’s fans were not happy to see the photos of the two looking intimate as many started threatening Gomez’ life on Twitter due to being linked to him.
Just days later, we would find out that Bieber took Gomez on a multi-day tour of his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, Canada. Gomez and Bieber would spend time together at places he grew up at over the years. In addition, Gomez got to meet Bieber’s mom, grandparents, and other relatives. The two would also share various kisses while they were out having lunch and dinner. According to In Touch this is a cause for concern for Bieber’s parents.
His parents are apparently concerned that Bieber is growing up too quickly — and all at once. For example, shortly after his trip from Maui, Hawaii, he came back with a pierced earring, a new tattoo, and has apparently completely dropped his Canadian accent. A source to the tabloid adds, “Overall, the family really likes Selena and is happy with her good-girl image. They’re a little freaked out by how fast she and Justin are moving, but they’re just chalking it up to young love–for now.”
