Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony Reunite, But Not Back Together

Written by Michael Lambarde on Aug. 11, 2011

The last we heard of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, we thought their relationship was through, but they were spotted together yet again on Wednesday less than one month after they announced that they were going to get a divorce after being married for seven years.

However, a rep for Lopez told TMZ that the couple were not have second thoughts about getting back together. In the photo released by the celebrity website, both Lopez and Anthony were spotted in the back of a red convertible in Southampton, New York near Sagg Main Beach.

The source said, “They are NOT back together – they were just visiting each other and the children.” However, in the photos in question, their twins Max and Emme were not seen together, fueling rumors that the two may be back together — though it may just be false hope from fans that want them to reunite.

However, that was not all that caused the split. According to Us Weekly, both almost split up from each other after Anthony would go out clubbing in New York City and Las Vegas without his wedding ring on and flirt with various women, and he even allegedly cheated on a woman on a flight attendant two years ago.

“Marc and Jennifer almost split up over it,” the source dished at the time. “Jennifer was going to leave him then, but Marc begged her to stay. They went to marriage counseling and she decided to give it another shot. He was someone she truly loved.”

In addition to being unfaithful to Lopez, Anthony seemed to be leery of the mother of their two children because he believed that she was having an affair with William Levy, who was prominiently featured in the Im Into You video. “Marc was extremely paranoid that she was having an affair with him and went crazy with jealousy and rage and screamed at Jennifer,” the same source added. “She told him she was absolutely not cheating, but Marc was so upset, he left the house for a few days.”
