Jake Gyllenhaal’s continues to make the media rounds while out promoting Source Code, which is currently out in theaters right now. The movie, which is generating surprisingly favorable reviews, is also making Gyllenhaal talk about his love life following his relationship with Taylor Swift went south in early 2011. Gyllenhaal recently talked to the website Musicrooms.net about love and what the handsome actor looks for.
“It’s with your family, whether it’s with somebody you fall in love with and have a relationship with, it’s all about being seen,” Gyllenhaal said in the interview. “It’s all about someone saying, ‘I see you. I see who you are. I love who you are. I appreciate who you are.”
Gyllenhaal, 30-years-old, has been in various relationships over the years — from Taylor Swift to Reese Witherspoon to Kirsten Dunst — however, none ever stuck, and if they did, Gyllenhaal decided to end them abruptly like he did recently with Taylor Swift. Things between the two seemed to be serious and Swift was clearly letting everyone in her personal circle know that Gyllenhaal was “the one”. Following the split, Swift was “heart-broken” about the split and didn’t know why he decided to move on from her. Judging from this excerpt, though, Gyllenhaal still hasn’t given up on love and is just looking for that lucky person.
