‘GMA’ Invites Chris Brown Back To The Show After Outburst

Chris Brown, who had an outburst on ABC’s Good Morning America Tuesday morning, today issued an apology for his reaction to Robin Roberts, one of the anchors of the long-running morning show, pressing him for details on when he domestically assaulted his-then girlfriend Rihanna. Talking to BET’s 106 & Park Brown stated, “I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions […] I’m disappointed in the way I acted.”

However, even though Brown did indeed cause a scene behind the cameras on GMA, that isn’t stopping the morning news program from inviting him back to the show. In fact, not only are they inviting him back to that show, but ABC’s primetime hit juggernaut, Dancing with the Stars, will be featuring him twice next week — on Monday and Tuesday.

Yes, Brown did cause a scene, but as a result of the scene, the outburst was covered by various entertainment news sources, which as a result gave coverage to GMA, which in turn can give the morning show — which is currently behind NBC’s Today Show a ratings bump when he makes his eventual return on the show. After all, temper tantrum or not, ABC is a business and ratings are what gets them the money. It’s all about the money, isn’t it?
