‘Friday’ Hitmaker Rebecca Black Takes A Dig At Miley Cyrus

It is the war of words between former Disney star Miley Cyrus and “Friday” Youtube hitmaker Rebecca Black. Just one day after Miley Cyrus talked to Australia’s Daily Telegraph, saying that it should be harder than simply going on Youtube, posting a video and being signed to a label and going on tour, Black decided to respond to the former teen star. In the past, Black has attributed the success of her song “Friday” going viral to Justin Bieber.

“Watching Justin Bieber become so big when he was so young was insane,” Black said in a past interview. “I never thought I could be anything like him, and now people are comparing me to him!” Now, Black recently decided to take a digg at Cyrus by saying that a few amount of people get “a little jump start in the business, like Miley Cyrus,” possibly in response to Cyrus’ recent comments where she said the following: “It should be harder to be an artist. You shouldn’t just be able to put a song on YouTube and go out on tour.”

Since getting criticism by both comedians and viewers of her Youtube video alike, many celebrities have come to the defense of Black, including hit star Lady Gaga, former American Idol judge and upcoming X-Factor star Simon Cowell, Idol judge Ryan Seacrest amongst others.
