Following his outburst Tuesday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, Chris Brown was seen smirking (and with a t-shirt) later in the day as he arrived at the Opera Gallery in New York City (view the photos here). According to sources at the studio, Brown was apparently upset that Robin Roberts directed Rihanna-related questions toward him instead of focusing on his new album. Following the interview, he allegedly smashed a window in his dressing room with a chair.
A source close to People defends Brown, saying that “[Brown has] been trying to move on from his past and focus on his music, and he’s finally putting out an album. Why can’t we focus on that? He makes great music and he loves his fans. He’s a good kid.”
Despite the spat between Rihanna and Brown occurring in early 2009, people still continue to question why Brown decided to physically assault her, one of the most high profile female performers. Brown took to Twitter following the GMA outburst saying, “I’m so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t.” He later deleted it.
