CBS Reveals ‘Big Brother 13’ Houseguests; We’re Looking For Contributors

Written by Keith Roberts on Jun. 30, 2011

It’s that time of the year again! The hit summer sensation known as Big Brother returns to CBS one week from tonight, July 7, on CBS for its 13th season. This season, CBS is introducing yet another twist to the game where eight new, unknown stars have been cast — more on them later — as well as the re-introduction of six former names from the past. The “twist” is known as “double trouble” and they currently have a poll up on the Big Brother sub-site on CBS.com asking voters which team from the past they want to be brought back.

While the poll doesn’t say that the three “dynamic duos” from the past that get the majority of the votes will be brought back, it was likely put up in order to garner attention from the fans of the reality series, as well as to get an idea of who the fans want to be brought back during the season premiere next Thursday night. The CBS website lists six “duos”, though that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are going to be the ones brought back: Brendon & Rachel; Dr. Will and Mike “Boogie”; Jessie and Natalie; Evil Dick and Danielle; Jeff and Jordan; and Hayden and Enzo.

As for the stars that will be brought in this year, it is more diverse than years past with three African Americans and one Latino cast. The cast is as follow: Writer Kalie Booker, 30, from Philadelphia; Cocktail Waitress Porsche Briggs, 23, from Miami Beach; College student Dominic Briones, 25, from San Mateo, California; Model Cassi Colvin, 26, from Allen, Texas; Legal File Clerk Lawon Exum, 39, from Urbana, Illinois; Human Resources Manager Keith Henderson, 32, from Bolingbrook, Illinois; Outdoors Industry Executive Shelly Moore, 41, from Centerville, Ohio; and Inventory Manager Adam Poch, 39, from East Brunswick, New Jersey.

Etidbits.com will be covering the 13th season of Big Brother extensively throughout its three-month run, many of which will include detailed spoilers from the live feeds. These spoilers will reveal Head of Households not shown on television, nominations, veto winners, special twists, etc that are revealed on the live feeds before they air on television. I will be doing much of the spoilers, but we are also looking for contributors. If you’d be interested in providing recaps/blogs of either what you see on television and/or the live feeds that will be read by thousands of readers here on the website, please e-mail the webmaster of this website at Webmaster@Etidbits.com. We’d love for you to join our team, if you have the time this summer. We’re also open to what ever suggestions we receive, too, so please don’t hesitate to email us.

I have also compiled a “score card”, as shown in the image below, featuring all the houseguests that were revealed today, as well as the houseguests that will be revealed next Thursday (denoted with a question mark until the revelation). The score card will be updated on a regular basis featuring live updates of who is the head of household, the nominated houseguests, who has the power of veto, who was eliminated, etc. We look forward to having a great summer here covering Big Brother, and hopefully you’ll follow along with us, and even better yet, contribute if you love Big Brother as much as we do.
