Bristol Palin Backtracks Claims That She Was Raped By Levi Johnston

Despite claiming in her new memoir, Afraid Of Life: My Journey So Far that she had her virginity “stole” from Levi Johnston while she was drunk, Bristol Palin backpedaled during an appearance on Good Morning America this week because of possibly facing charges from Johnston’s camp that she was making false claims. The daughter of Sarah Palin, who is still publicly undecided if she will run for President in 2012, said that she was “not accusing Levi of date rape, or rape at all.” She added, “But I am just looking back on this with adult eyes I have now.”

Later, she would add that having sex with the father of her son was a rather “foolish decision”. In the memoir, she would go on and bash Johnston by not mentioning him by name, but only by “the gnat”. She would even claim that Johnston “cheated on [her] as frequently as he sharpened his hockey skates”. Bristol then would go on and discuss the “morning after” the two had their first sexual relationship in a tent.
