Bravo To Air ‘Real Housewives’ Special About Russell Armstrong’s Suicide

The estranged wife of Taylor Armstrong, Russell Armstrong, will be part of a Bravo special that will address his suicide earlier this month, according to the Los Angeles Times. Armstrong was reportedly heavily involved in the season 2 premiere of the network’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. During the premiere before it was re-edited, Taylor was featured shopping for lingerie to “spice up” her marriage and later started crying after she attended couples counseling.

While little was given on when the special will air, it was reportedly taped on Monday with stars Lisa Vanderpump, Camille Grammer, Kyle and Kim Richards, and Adrienne Maloof. Taylor was reportedly not present. The women of the hit reality series reportedly sat down and gave their reactions to the suicide, according to the Times.

Many are expecting the special to air before the actual season premiere of Beverly Hills in order to formally address his death before the season actually kicks off, but that seems unlikely considering the premiere is expected to air this upcoming Monday.

Shortly following Russell’s death, the network said it was working to re-edit the upcoming season. The network refused to comment on if if Russell will still be involved in the upcoming season, or if his role had since been diminished.
