Rapper Big Boi, best known for being part of the group Outkast, has been busted in Miami for possessing ecstasy, MDMA powder (the main ingredient in ecstasy), and Viagra. Big Boi, whose real name is Antwan Patton, had no prescription for the latter drug. Patton was reportedly arrested by custom officials in Miami when he was exiting a cruise ship. Upon exit, he was caught by drug-sniffing dogs, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The 36-year-old Grammy award winner was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia on Sunday.

Patton’s attorney released the following statement shortly after the news was leaked to the tabloids, saying that he was “confident” that his client would be able to get passed the charges: “While Big Boi was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage. I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated.”

Patton’s bond was set at $16,000 after he was booked at 1:35 PM EST. Since the incident, he has been released from jail.
