Judge Judy — who, besides Oprah Winfrey, is daytime television’s queen when it comes to her salary, is doing “well” after being released from the hospital on Thursday. She was taken to a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday morning during a taping of her syndicated court show Judge Judy.
Judy, 68, said “all is well” in a statement released after she was released from the hospital, according to the Associated Press. She added that she was pleased with the “loving messages” she received while in the hospital, which she stayed in overnight in order to receive additional tests from the doctors.
Judy Sheindlin has been on television for her syndicated series for fourteen years, since 1996, and is known as one of the toughest judges on television. According to estimates in 2010, she received an enormous $45 million, surpassing names like Jay Leno, Ryan Seacrest and David Letterman.
