The View co-host Joy Behar has officially married her boyfriend of 29 years, Steve Janowitz. The two got married in New York City Thursday, according to a spokeperson for the ABC talk show. While little details were revealed by the spokesperson, they claimed that she would talk about more in details during the September 6th episode of the show after it officially makes its 15th season debut.

During a March 2009 edition of The View, Behar suggested that she might get married to Janowitz eventually, but later called off the engagement three months later. “Actually, I got cold feet again, so I don’t know what I’m going to do,” she said at the time. Two years later and Behar, 68, and Janowitz are officially married.

Star of HLN’s Joy Behar Show and her beau have been linked together since the mid-1980s. This marks the second wedding for Behar as she married Joe Behar in 1965 and they divorced 16 years later in 1981, just years before she met Janowitz.

While Behar had a surprise wedding and has been mum about the topic on the ABC chatfest as of late, her co-host Sherri Shepherd has been talking about it openly as of late, and will get married to television writer Lamar Sally today (Saturday) in Chicago.
